Topkapi Palace

Gate of Salutation

The Great Topkapi palace. I was in Turkey in May for traveling and visiting historical places and also for testing my photography skills ;) . Topkapi is among the places in the world one has to see before dying. An architectural masterpiece preserving historical treasures within it. Topkapi is a living history and also witness of great historical events and great wars. Standing in Topkapi is just like witnessing and feeling the great Ottoman period. Strolling through Topkapi corridors and between Topkapi chambers was very fascinating and mystical; you can suddenly feel that your soul is too old and characterizing yourself as an actor of the ottoman period as if you were there. I have uploaded some pictures of Topkapi on my flickr album along with their historical description. Following is the URL;

Dust Storm in Kuwait

Last month Kuwait was hit by a major Dust storm. All buildings were indulged in thick layer of dust due to this storm and whole Kuwait was seeing like a big desert. Visibility was so low that vehicles have to use their head lights even during day time. I got some pictures of this storm from my friend and now posting them via this blog.
