This is day one after earthquake, i am still feeling light dizziness as after effects of earth quake. This earthquake was measured as 5.7 magnitude on richter scale. following is the link for details

Just now i felt very strong earthquake signals in Kuwait. i am living in salmiya i was lying on my couch then suddenly i felt my couch is shaking and moving like a slow pendulum, first i thought i am feeling dizziness but my friend sitting in another room went out and told me that he had also felt the same thing, The earthquake starts at around 1:07 AM approx and lasts for almost 1 min or more i guess. I saw from my terrace that lots of people came out from their buildings for safety precautions, will see tomorrow’s news paper for more details on this.
Last month Kuwait was hit by a major Dust storm. All buildings were indulged in thick layer of dust due to this storm and whole Kuwait was seeing like a big desert. Visibility was so low that vehicles have to use their head lights even during day time. I got some pictures of this storm from my friend and now posting them via this blog.
Friday Kuwait was hit by a strong storm. Me and my friend were playing badminton at around 6:00 pm in home then suddenly we heard very furious sounds. I am living in salmiya and my building is one of the tallest buildings in vicinity. I am living at 9th floor which is also the last floor of this building. At the time of storm the windows of my flat were banging like they will gonna break at any time, the pressure of wind was entering in my flat by ducting and creating a horrendous sound also when I saw outside from my balcony, all things were messed up, people around the streets were hiding below the roof of shops which is even more dangerous because of heavy wind and downpour. The wind was blowing at such a furious pace that it broke and damaged everything came in the way. Fortunately the whole storm lasted not more then 7-8 minutes. After storm I went outside and astonished to see the damaged done by the storm. The trees and pools were down on cars and on other objects. The strength of storm can be understood by seeing the signboards falling all over the roof of shops and also on cars. There were 3 deaths reported by the local newspaper. Most of these deaths were caused by the car accidents because of low visibility. Some peoples have also reported water crystals falling from the sky during downpour. I am now shivering to think that what had happen if this storm last more than 10 minutes?
