Pakistan rethink over US ‘war on terror’

New Pakistani government might take some stance against ‘war on terror’. The best option for them is to put all decision on parliament’s court and ask from parliament for any action. This will not be any easy task as Pakistan military have its own strategies and will most likely don’t take any instructions from parliament. On the other hand if Pakistan military also bind their decisions with parliament on war on terror and tell US that they will accept any decision from parliament on this matter (one should hope) then this would be as very interesting situation and then only the power of democracy and parliament will come out but i don’t think the current parliament is strong enough to hold this pressure. lets see who will gonna win.

Identity crisis for palestinians in Lebanon

BBC recently posted an article about the Palestinians who are struggling in Lebanon. As per this article they don’t have any Ids and they are living in very bad conditions in refugee camps.as per one refugee “We face many problems, no travel, no marriage, no work. We live in the camp like a prison.” they even cannot send thier childrens in school. Lebanese officials are planning to start their registration and after this process hopefully they will get equal benefits as their other counterparts.

Shoaib Akhtar banned for Five years !

At last the decision has been made and shoaib has been banned for five years. PCB officials has badly failed for handling shoaib case and instead of opting for a diplomatic path, they have decided to banned him. He has been banned because of “Violating the players’ code of conduct”. He can appeal against this decision within seven days, but most likely the decision will not change. He was under probation after he has been charged for hitting Mohammad Asif from cricket bat. As per PCB chairman “The board has lost confidence in Shoaib Akhtar and therefore felt that his presence in the field was damaging to the Pakistan team, for Pakistan players and for the image of Pakistan cricket”.

Lets see how long this decision will last because as per current Pakistani political situation, most probably new Pakistani government will dismiss current PCB setup for mismanagement charges and will appoint their allies in PCB setup then only shoaib can come in and plea against this decision otherwise he has to only think about IPL or later on for ICL.
